Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋
Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!
Lightspeed is looking for a Senior Program Manager, Talent & Capability. In this role, you will be the internal expert for our core talent processes. What you’ll be doing:
- Individual Goal Setting:
Design and roll out a new, company-wide quarterly goal-setting process to ensure clarity on expectations and align employee work with company priorities. - Talent Cycle & Talent Planning:
Design and execute the strategy for our annual talent cycle, refreshing our bi-yearly talent review process, shifting focus from backward-looking assessment to forward-looking talent planning to identify high-potential employees for promotion and strategic internal mobility. - Program Management:
Manage cross-functional programs that coordinate efforts across Compensation, People Business Partners, Talent Systems and Insights, and People Operations teams, ensuring alignment and successful delivery of People & Culture objectives. - Enablement & Consulting:
Partner with Talent & Capability Business Partners and People Business Partners (PBPs) to determine the most effective ways to train and enable leaders to participate effectively in talent practices. - Org Design Best Practices:
Determine best practices for organizational design and create an accessible org design process/activity toolkit for PBPs to use when partnering with their functional leaders. - Subject Matter Expert:
Own the execution and continuous improvement of core talent programs, acting as the primary subject matter expert and working with minimal guidance in complex situations.
What you’ll be bringing:
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience in Talent Management/Talent Development, HR Program Management, or a related functional field leading complex, cross‑functional HR programs with multiple stakeholders
- Comprehensive knowledge of performance management frameworks, methodologies, and current research, including emerging best practices and evidence‑based approaches
- Deep experience designing and executing talent review processes and succession planning frameworks across different organizational contexts
- Strong understanding of organizational design principles and best practices tailored to various company stages (startup, scale‑up, enterprise) and maturity levels
- Proven expertise in goal‑setting methodologies (OKRs, KPIs, hybrid approaches) and cascading strategy through an organization
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and driving adoption of complex, company‑wide talent programs across diverse global teams.
- As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.
