About the Role
We are offering a Part-Time Administration Assistant opportunity for candidates who are interested in building a long-term career in the recruitment industry. This role is ideal for individuals seeking part-time work initially, with the potential to grow into a full-time Administrator or Recruitment Contract Manager, based on performance, commitment, and business requirements. You will start by supporting the Recruitment Contract Manager with administrative and coordination tasks, gaining hands-on exposure to recruitment processes, client delivery, and candidate management.

The role offers structured learning, mentorship, and real career development for candidates who demonstrate initiative and strong performance. The position is remote based, however on-site training at one of Elchemie’s satellite offices for the first month is non-negotiable to ensure full system training and successful integration into the role.

What you’ll be doing
  • Providing administrative support to the Recruitment Contract Manager
  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews with candidates and clients
  • Managing email correspondence and maintaining accurate records
  • Preparing and formatting recruitment-related documentation
  • Following up with candidates and supporting recruitment processes
  • Assisting with ad-hoc administrative and coordination tasks
  • Gradually gaining exposure to recruitment activities and client support
What you’ll need
  • Grade 12 / Matric (formal qualification in Administration or Human Resources advantageous)
  • Strong administrative skills with a willingness to learn and grow within recruitment
  • Good computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook essential)
  • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and good time management
  • Professional, motivated, and career-driven mindset
  • Own laptop, mobile phone, and reliable Wi-Fi connection (required for remote work)
  • Availability to attend on-site training daily for the first month (non-negotiable)
