OverviewThe People Relations Partner provides consistent, fair, and compliant support to HR Business Partners, managers, and team members. The role focuses on day‑to‑day employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, investigations, and offboarding. It ensures a positive employee experience while delivering timely and accurate solutions.
What You’ll Do- Provide practical people‑relations support to managers and team members, addressing conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and performance concerns in compliance with all applicable laws.
- Support terminations for all work types, coordinating documentation, workflows, and approvals, and escalating complex cases.
- Assist with offboarding, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all required steps for every termination type.
- Lead investigations into team‑member issues, ensuring resolutions comply with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with Legal, People Operations, HR Experience, Payroll, HR Business Partners, and People Success to process, administer, and facilitate conflict resolution and terminations.
- Analyze employee‑relations data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures for investigations.
- Work with People Success to train managers on handling conflict, disciplinary actions, and compliant terminations.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in employee relations with exposure to investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices, with the ability to apply guidance and escalates when necessary.
- Strong investigative, conflict‑resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and experience with case‑management and HRIS tools.
- Experience with EMEA employment law (UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy) is a plus.
- Remote‑first mindset and willingness to travel internationally for events.
