Overview
Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This role is fully remote. The candidate should be self-driven, organized, proactive, and resourceful. You will be the sole person responsible for processing and owning all payroll for the Americas (US, Mexico, Canada, Brazil). This will include monthly and bi-monthly payroll processing, answering employee questions related to payroll, and handling any special projects, audits, and reporting when needed.
The client uses Workday for their payroll system, so it is required to have this experience.

- Own the entire payroll process for the Americas (US, Mexico, Canada, Brazil) on a monthly and bi-monthly schedule.
- Answer employee questions related to payroll and address payroll-related inquiries.
- Manage special projects, audits, and reporting as needed.
- Utilize Workday for payroll processing and related activities.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance with applicable payroll regulations across multiple regions.
- 5+ years of payroll experience.
- At least three years of Workday experience specifically.
- Comfortable owning the entire payroll process.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Self-driven and proactive personality.
