Talent Manager
Location: Town of Poland
Tenova, LLC is seeking a Career Specialist with exceptional knowledge of Military life and career support best practices to provide guidance, check‑ins, and align resources to highly trained military personnel navigating the civilian job search. This position supports initiatives across all Military branches with a focus on relevant and intentional support through delivery of an individualized approach to each client’s goals, objectives, and transition needs.
This is a part time, remote position.
- Collaborate closely with transitioning service members to develop a structured and individualized plan of support for all stages of military to civilian life transition.
- Conduct a needs assessment with each client participating in the program to determine employment and/or education goals in their desired field;
- Career coaching to plan and support the facilitation of transition activities;
- Networking assistance to include intentional pairing with industry mentors for one‑on‑one advice and transition support, additional connections with hiring managers and recruiters to support goals;
- Assist with developing initial and targeted resumes for career interests across multiple industries;
- Provide personalized support based on individual needs established during the coaching calls (i.e., education, employment, mentorship, events, resume writing, interview preparation, salary negotiations, benefits, compensation packages, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Training and Development, HR Management, Counseling, or 2 years career counseling, education, or related experience.
- 3+ years of experience in military lifestyle through personal and/or professional experience with military personnel and their families is highly desired, along with an understanding of the military transition and recruiting processes.
- Applicants must successfully undergo a background investigation (National Agency Check).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for a Top‑Secret clearance.
- Individual must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the U.S. Federal Government (Preferred).
- Experience in a fast‑paced business cycle (day‑to‑day results) and/or rapidly growing small business environment is a plus.
