Tech recruitment at Polarsteps

A great team is vital to our success, making our recruitment efforts essential to achieving our goals.

You'll help scale the company and shape our culture by bringing in new talent. You'll work closely with teams and hiring managers to understand their needs, source and interview the right candidates, develop new strategies, build strong relationships, and continuously improve our processes.

Beyond attracting top talent, you care deeply about providing an excellent candidate experience and collaborating with our teams to ensure a smooth and successful hiring process.

This role reports to our Lead Recruiter and collaborates with People & Ops and various (C-level) hiring managers.

Your itinerary:

What your journey at Polarsteps will look like day-to-day.

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for complex technical roles, managing multiple hiring stages simultaneously.
  • Thrive in a dynamic scale-up environment with high standards, enjoying the impact of your work.
  • Develop and fine-tune successful sourcing and hiring strategies.
  • Source and map the best candidates to maintain high-quality pipelines.
  • Handle offer management and salary negotiations, anticipate risks, and manage expectations.
  • Work on ad-hoc recruitment projects and initiatives like implementing a new ATS, improving processes, and exploring new tools.

What we’re hoping you’ll bring with you.

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, including 2+ years in Technical Recruitment and 2+ years of in-house end-to-end recruitment.
  • Experience in a tech company with a growth dynamic.
  • A curious mind and passion for recruitment, constantly seeking to improve.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Deep care for providing the best candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience using AI/automation in recruitment.
  • Experience with Ashby.
