We're looking for a dynamic and skilled recruiter to help us build a top-tier team of Loan Officers. As the ideal candidate, you will bring excellent social and leadership abilities, a knack for negotiation, and exceptional organizational skills. You’ll be instrumental in developing strategies to attract and retain the best talent in the mortgage industry. This remote position is open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing Top Talent:
Leverage a variety of recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, industry events, and networking, to discover outstanding candidates.
Build and nurture a network of mortgage professionals to tap into a pool of potential candidates for future recruitment.
Screening and Evaluating Candidates:
Review resumes and production metrics to identify candidates who align with job requirements.
Conduct initial screenings to assess qualifications and interest in the Loan Officer role.
Interview Coordination:
Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit within the organization.
Comprehensive Candidate Assessment:
Assess candidates' knowledge of mortgage lending practices and relevant industry competencies.
Reference Checking:
Verify candidates' employment history, qualifications, and loan production to ensure they meet job expectations.
Collaboration with Recruitment Managers:
Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and preferences for mortgage loan officer roles.
Provide regular updates on the status of recruitment efforts and candidate pipelines.
Negotiation and Offer Management:
Lead the negotiation process and extend job offers to selected candidates.
Ensure a seamless offer and acceptance process.
Support Onboarding:
Partner with the Onboarding Team and other departments to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new Loan Officers.
Provide support and guidance to help new hires integrate into the organization successfully.
Maintain Accurate Recruitment Records:
Keep detailed, up-to-date records of recruitment activities, including candidate profiles, interview notes, and documentation.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
At least two years of direct Loan Officer recruitment experience, overseeing all phases of the process.
Strong proactive sourcing skills and the ability to take initiative.
Excellent time management and proven ability to meet deadlines.
