At the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), we’re not just about producing world‑class guidance - we’re about creating a workplace where people feel empowered, supported, and inspired.

Are you ready to shape the future of workforce capability and leadership at the heart of a nationally influential organisation? Do you think and behave in a true partnership fashion?

We’re looking for an inspiring Head of Learning, Talent and Strategic Partnering to lead our learning and talent agenda, lead our Strategic People Partnering approach, drive organisational capability, and embed inclusive, future‑focused strategies across NICE.

This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in a fast‑paced, values‑driven environment where people drive everything we are about. You’ll lead a talented team, champion innovative development solutions, and ensure our leaders and colleagues have the skills, capability and support they need to thrive.

If you’re passionate about strategic workforce capability building, leadership development, and creating a culture of high performance and inclusion – we want to hear from you!

  • Shape the future of workforce capability by designing and delivering NICE’s integrated Learning, Talent, and Strategic Partnering strategy.
  • Lead innovation in leadership development through inclusive talent pathways, succession planning, and coaching and mentoring frameworks.
  • Drive organisational transformation by embedding a future‑fit skills taxonomy and capability framework across NICE.
  • Champion a culture of high performance and inclusion, ensuring learning and development initiatives empower every colleague to thrive.
  • Influence at the highest level by representing People Services at executive forums and providing thought leadership on workforce capability and talent pipelines.
  • Create impact through data‑driven decisions, establishing KPIs and evaluation frameworks to measure success and report outcomes to senior stakeholders.
  • Inspire and lead talented teams, motivating Learning & Talent specialists and Strategic People Partners to deliver exceptional, business‑aligned solutions.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to integrate strategic workforce planning, organisational development, and cultural change initiatives that make NICE a brilliant place to work.
