People & Culture Operations Manager

Overview

Lester Aldridge LLP is looking for a proactive and people-focused P&C Operations Manager to oversee the seamless delivery of our People services. This role focuses on shaping how we support colleagues, streamlining processes, and aligning the people strategy with business goals.

• Lead day-to-day P&C operations across the full employee lifecycle
• Manage payroll and benefits with precision and care
• Coach and develop a high-performing P&C operations team
• Own our HR systems and data (Access – People HR)
• Drive process improvements and tech upgrades
• Ensure compliance and keep policies sharp and user-friendly
• Enhance employee experience from onboarding to offboarding

• Proven experience in P&C operations (law firm/professional services ideal) and technology
• Strong payroll and benefits expertise
• Confident team leadership and coaching skills
• Organised, data-driven, and solutions-focused

With around 400 people across three offices, there is opportunity to influence and grow within a firm that is evolving through a bold strategy. The role offers a clear path to senior P&C leadership for the right candidate.

We offer a flexible approach to work with hybrid opportunities including a compressed work week and the flexibility to work from home. The successful candidate is expected to be in the Bournemouth office at least 3 days per week.
