* This position is home-based, but applicants must be based in Utah to match the team's location.
Processing payroll, managing employee records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, all while utilizing the ADP Workforce Now platform. This includes tasks like calculating wages, managing deductions, handling employee inquiries, and generating reports. Focus on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Calculating employee wages, overtime, deductions, and taxes based on timekeeping data and other relevant information including integrating key stakeholder/3rd party files into bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Employee Record Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records within ADP Workforce Now, including changes to pay rates, deductions, and benefits.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as company policies as previously defined.
- Data Entry and Validation: Accurately entering payroll data into ADP WFN and verifying its accuracy before processing.
- Report Generation: Creating and distributing various payroll reports, including deductions, and other relevant information.
- Employee Support: Responding to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and other payroll‑related matters.
- Issue Resolution: Identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors in payroll data or processes.
- System Maintenance: Assisting with the setup and maintenance of the ADP Workforce Now system, including new feature requests, configuration changes as well as pay code/deduction set ups.
- Audit Support: Providing documentation and support for internal and external audits.
- Payroll Processing
Experience:
Experience with processing payroll, preferably with ADP Workforce Now. - Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations. - Analytical
Skills:
Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees and other stakeholders. - Organizational
Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. - ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
Experience:
Experience using ADP Workforce Now as well as interfacing with Work Day is a plus. - Excel Expertise:
Expertise with Excel for data analysis and reporting is critical to this role and often needed.
- Reconciliations:
Reconciling payroll data with the general ledger and other financial records. - Training:
Providing training to other employees on payroll processes or the ADP WFN system. We’re doing work that matters. Help us solve what others can’t.
