Human Resources Onboarding Specialist
The Human Resources Onboarding Specialist is responsible for providing exemplary customer service and support to new employees joining the organization, as well as to hiring managers, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities- Provides excellent customer service by answering employee and manager requests and questions on a daily basis via phone and/or email.
- Reviews reporting on a daily basis and timely converts workers to active status.
- Notifies field leaders when a new hire’s start date is approaching and onboarding requirements have not been met. Works with leaders to determine the best resolution.
- Receives and processes new employee information accurately while maintaining and updating the existing database with accurate demographic and pay information.
- Monitors and facilitates the completion of pre and post hire onboarding requirements including, but not limited to background check clearance, reference checks, and compliant I‑9 completion.
- Ensures newly converted workers are set up correctly and timely in the respective Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system (Home Care Home Base, Continulink, etc.).
- Educates the field as needed on onboarding compliance and best practices.
- Assists managers with obtaining information for an employee’s personnel file as needed.
- Uses judgement to effectively resolve problems or issues in a manner that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, regulation or government law regularly.
- Researches and analyses new hire employee information in the company database as needed.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience:
1 year - College education preferred.
- Human Resources certification preferred.
- Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and internet usage.
- Must possess general clerical, organizational, time management, and written/oral communication skills.
