PEOPLE PARTNER (PART-TIME, FLEXIBLE) – MAINLY REMOTE (SOUTH/SOUTH WEST PREFERRED)

Buckland Care is looking for a friendly, experienced People Partner to join our team and provide practical, proactive HR support to our care homes and leadership teams. This is a standalone HR role; you’ll be the only dedicated HR professional within the company, working independently while liaising with our insurer’s employment law team for guidance and support on employment law matters.
Summary of the Role- Act as the first point of contact for all HR matters across the business
- Advise managers on employee relations, performance, absence, and wellbeing
- Liaise with our insurer’s employment law team for expert guidance
- Support managers in fostering positive, engaged teams
- Ensure policies are fair, consistent, and up to date
- Use insights to improve staff experience, retention, and culture
- 8+ years’ HR experience (People Partner/HRBP level)
- CIPD Level 5+ (Level 7 desirable)
- Strong understanding of UK employment law
- Approachable, proactive, and people-focused
- Experience in care or healthcare preferred
