WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?
THIS IS A SALES CAREER…As an Education Recruitment Consultant, your primary responsibility will be recruiting teaching staff, both on a temporary and permanent basis for schools. This role encompasses the full 360-degree recruitment process, which includes cold calling and new business development, as well as candidate sourcing and interviewing.

You should possess resilience and tenacity, along with excellent communication skills to build authentic relationships, which are crucial for success. You must be determined, self-motivated, and goal-oriented, capable of problem-solving and thinking on your feet to meet targets in a dynamic environment. The role offers flexibility with a hybrid work arrangement, splitting your time between the office and remote work.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Achieving weekly KPIs and targets with support from your team.
  • Building relationships with schools using various business development tools.
  • Recruiting staff through various techniques, including adverts, job board sourcing, creating a robust social media presence, and headhunting.
  • Conducting telephone, virtual, and face-to-face interviews with candidates.
  • Collaborating with the specialised compliance team to ensure candidates meet all necessary requirements to work.
  • Working proactively and swiftly to fulfil your clients' vacancy needs.
ARE YOU IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE?
  • Previous recruitment experience, especially in temporary placements, is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a fast paced, targeted, and high-pressured sales position.
  • A recent graduate with a degree in fields such as sales, customer service, sports, drama, business & management, Leisure & Tourism, psychology and HR.
  • Possess an investigative nature and experience in asking open-ended questions.
  • Accountable, results-focused, tenacious, resilient, and adaptable.
  • You should be tenacious and resilient, with the confidence to build authentic relationships at all levels.
  • Solution-focused problem solver and a team player.
  • Committed, proactive, self-motivated, and reliable.
  • Maintain a stable work history with the ability to explain reasons for leaving previous positions.
  • Driving Licence.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR WORKING HOURS?
During term time, your hours will be 7 am to 5 pm (with a 4 pm finish on Fridays).
After your probation period, the hours will be 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
In school holidays, you will work from 9 am to 3:30 pm.
