Recruitment Team Leader - Teacher Active

Salary: £33,000 - £44,950 + uncapped commission with no threshold

At Teacher Active, we’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Team Leader to join our thriving team. If you’re experienced in managing recruitment consultants, driving performance, and building strong client relationships, this is the role for you!

You’ll be hands on with your own desk while also leading a team to achieve incredible results. You’ll take full ownership of your team’s performance, driving success through hands on leadership, expert guidance, and personal contribution.

• Assume full accountability of a team, taking responsibility for the management and sales performance against budget
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and candidates
• Ensure delivery of key activity within your team and support them with their development and growth
• Creating a culture of high performance aligned with Teacher Active’s values
• Motivate the team to gain the highest possible outcomes whilst embodying Teacher Active’s culture and company values
• Use your extensive recruitment and sales skills to build your own desk, maximise team performance and achieve overall results
• Attending client meetings, school visits, and networking events
• Build and maintain an in depth understanding of the education sector to maximise potential opportunities

We want someone who thrives in a target driven environment and is passionate about leading others to success.

• Proven experience in a 360 recruitment role (ideally in a high-compliance sector)
• Experience of leading teams to success
• Proven track record of exceeding growth and GP targets
• Strong leadership, motivation, and coaching skills
• Excellent communication and relationship building ability
• Ability to drive strong activity levels
