The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist at the Manager level to support our teams in the US, Canada, and Costa Rica
. This role, based in Bellevue (A Work-from-Office opportunity
), will shape employee experiences, support people leaders, and enable our culture of performance, inclusion, and well-being.

You’ll be the go-to People partner for employees and managers in these regions — proactive, solutions-focused, and deeply human in your approach.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Employee Experience

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to leaders and employees across the US, Canada, and Costa Rica
  • Drive employee engagement, development, and retention through proactive interventions
  • Coach managers on org health, team dynamics, performance, and talent development
  • Partner with global HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations, Total Rewards, Talent Development) to align on local needs

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and practices across supported geographies. Guide Talent Operations on local requirements.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, internal moves, exits) with care and consistency
  • Lead or support local policy development and implementation
  • Manage employee relations cases with fairness, discretion, and empathy

Programs & Projects

  • Support or lead people programs such as performance management, recognition, DEI, well-being, and culture-building initiatives
  • Partner with Finance and Talent Operations on workforce planning, reporting, and compensation reviews
  • Analyse engagement and retention data to identify themes and actions

Who You Are

  • A strong HR generalist with a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Known for your ability to build trust, navigate ambiguity, and get things done
  • Emotionally intelligent, culturally aware, and driven by impact

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in tech or SaaS environments
  • Solid knowledge of US employment law; experience supporting Canada and/or Costa Rica is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in employee relations, performance management, and manager coaching
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP) are a plus
