• Lead the functional operations of Workday Payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Oversee the integration and data flow between Workday HCM/Payroll and global payroll vendors
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with tax and labor laws
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and general ledger files for accurate financial reporting
• Serve as the subject matter expert for complex payroll inquiries, audits, and compliance issues

• Extensive experience managing multi-state and/or global payroll operations
• Deep working knowledge of Workday Payroll and experience with global payroll platforms
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles, tax compliance, and labor regulations
• Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and reconcile large payroll data sets accurately

• Experience with payroll process improvement and scaling operations in a growing organization
• Proven ability to communicate technical issues clearly across teams
• Familiarity with compliance matters related to payroll and labor laws globally
