, a boutique consulting firm that serves small and medium‑size businesses as a fractional HR partner. The role is based in Austin, with a hybrid work model that combines remote work and onsite client visits as needed.
$80,000 – $100,000 per year, with potential to earn a 10-25+% base salary bonus through our annual performance program.
About the RoleAs an HR Business Partner, you will be the primary HR advisor for multiple clients across various jurisdictions and industries. You will help clients tackle complex people and culture challenges, design and implement customized HR programs, manage compliance, and drive organizational change.
What You Will Do- Act as the go‑to HR partner for multiple clients across multiple jurisdictions.
- Analyze current HR programs, design HR roadmaps tailored to each client’s engagement specifics, and ensure compliance standards are met.
- Develop, review, and apply HR policies and procedures, and spearhead HRIS implementations when necessary.
- Design compensation plans based on market data and industry standards, and manage performance management processes in line with best practices.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to management and employees, and facilitate HR‑related training sessions.
- Manage employee relations issues, and act as the lead relationship manager between Humani and clients’ C‑suite.
- Employment Law & Legislation: Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law across multiple states; union/labor relations experience is a plus.
- Analytical & Problem Solving: Ability to absorb business information, analyze it, and recommend execution plans.
- Time & Relationship Management: Efficiently manage time, deadlines, and client portfolios while proactively identifying and proposing solutions.
- Communication & Interpersonal: Effective verbal and written communication skills with executives and employees.
- Data Analysis: Detailed analysis of documents, reports, and data with meticulous attention.
- Technology: Comfortable using HR software, Google Workspace, and Excel/PowerPoint.
- 5+ years of client‑facing HRBP experience.
- 2+ years managing deliverables within an HR team.
- Degree or diploma in HR or related field; professional HR designation is an asset.
- A passion for building HR systems and processes from scratch and keeping up with industry trends.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail.
- Creativity and autonomy to deliver white‑glove service to clients.
- Competitive base salary $80,000–$100,000, with up to 10‑25+% bonus potential.
