Aboutthe Role Responsibilities
- Employee Relations:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR-related matters. Provide accurate and timely responses, escalating complex issues as needed. - Onboarding:
Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including processing paperwork, conducting new hire orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company. - Benefits Administration:
Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries. Communicate benefits information to employees and ensure compliance with regulations. - HRIS Management:
Maintain employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Generate reports and analyze data as needed. - Compliance:
Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. - Performance Management:
Support the performance management process by assisting with performance reviews, tracking performance data, and providing guidance to managers and employees. - Recruitment Support:
Assist with recruitment activities, such as posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. - Special Projects:
Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as developing new HR programs, updating policies, or conducting research. - Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience as an HR Representative or in a related HR role.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Bamboo
HR, ADP). - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a hybrid/remote work environment is a plus.
