Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Conference Services Manager for the beautiful Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

This position is eligible for both the Omni Sales Incentive Plan and Omni's Work From Home Program. Omni Hotels & Resorts values our associate’s work/life balance and supports WFH options for our specific sales, service, revenue‑management and leadership roles. After 90 days of employment, Convention Services Managers will be eligible to earn 1 WFH day. Please note this program is at the sole discretion of the GM/DOSM and has additional guidelines to adhere to.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate a detailed schedule of programs to include the following: meeting set‑up, audio/visual requirements, room reservations, food & beverage, and special functions.
  • Lead client through all aspects of planning resulting in a complete, detailed program.
  • Act as Barton Creek's liaison between client and staff.
  • Recommend full usage of facility services to client. CSMs must be up‑to‑date on current pricing and operational procedures.
  • Prepare detailed banquet event orders through Delphi for use by client and operational staff.
  • Prepare budget estimates for each group.
  • Prepare detailed meeting room and function room diagrams for operational areas.
  • Attend weekly resume meeting to discuss upcoming programs with Department Heads.
  • Monitor client's program while on property to ensure a well‑run meeting. Track daily progress and relate any changes to the group's agenda to appropriate departments.
  • Attend bi‑weekly Group Pickup led by Director of Revenue Management.
  • Attend department meetings and other company‑required trainings.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum one year planning experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
  • College degree preferred; work experience can substitute for education.
  • Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Delphi experience is also a plus.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented with ability to multitask.
Physical Requirements
  • The ability to sit and utilize telephone/computer for an entire shift.
Working Environment
  • Office environment with occasional travel around property.
Tools & Equipment
  • Computer, copy/print/scan/fax machine, files
  • Microsoft Office, Delphi
