Baya Resorts and Homes, a boutique resort in Karjat, is looking for a proactive and personable Reservations & Sales Manager to manage reservation inquiries for our resort while also working strategically to increase sales and occupancy. This role combines the responsibilities of handling guest booking inquiries with driving growth by promoting our resort's offerings, securing group bookings, and optimising sales opportunities.
The position offers a fixed salary with an attractive sales commission structure , incentivising you to help grow the resort's occupancy and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Reservations Management
Respond to guest inquiries promptly via phone, email, and Whats App, providing accurate information on availability, pricing, and amenities.
Process reservations efficiently in our booking system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with resort policies.
Sales and Revenue Generation
Develop and implement strategies to increase direct bookings, promote exclusive offers, and reduce dependency on third-party platforms.
Work on upselling resort services, packages, and amenities to maximise revenue per booking.
Build relationships with local businesses, event planners, and travel agencies to increase group bookings and long-stay reservations.
Identify and suggest new sales channels, promotions, and partnerships to reach new customer segments.
OTA and Channel Optimization
Regularly update and optimise resort listings on major OTAs (like , Airbnb) to ensure we are competitive in pricing and offerings.
Monitor OTA performance and suggest improvements in descriptions, photos, and special offers.
Customer Engagement and Satisfaction
Provide personalised service to guests, ensuring they feel valued and satisfied with their booking experience.
Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and any special requests to enhance the guest experience.
Internal Coordination & Communication
Ensure all booking-related information is clearly communicated internally, including payment status, food orders, special requests, and guest preferences, to the relevant team members.
Coordinate closely with operations, kitchen, housekeeping, and accounts teams to ensure nothing is missed before guest arrival and all commitments made during booking are honoured.
Maintain clear handovers and documentation to support smooth guest experiences and operational readiness.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in reservations, sales, or OTA management roles.
Familiarity with OTA platforms like , Airbnb, Make My Trip , etc.
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (both written and spoken).
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage time efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of property management systems or channel managers (experience with Asiatech is a plus).
