Overview
ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services are hiring a Guest Service Associate for a remote lodge near Fort McMurray, AB. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by assisting with guest needs, booking reservations, acting as a point of reference for guests who need information, and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues. Responsibilities include oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the guest services operation.
The successful candidate will be cross-trained in housekeeping and janitorial services and may be assigned to support these functions as operational needs require. While clerical duties remain the main focus, flexibility to assist in other departments is expected. Organization and good time management skills are a must.
- Understand guests' needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the hotel
- Have previous experience as a housekeeper and/or janitor for cross-training purposes
- Flexibility to assist in other departments is expected
- Greet and provide customer service to guests while anticipating their needs
- Fulfills special requests made by hotel guests and participates in the organization of special events
- Arrange events, excursions, transportation, etc. upon request from hotel residents
- Schedules and assigns daily work assignments for the guest services team and oversees completion of tasks
- Coordinate guest itineraries, prior to the guest's arrival, for requests received via phone, fax and e-mail
- Previous guest services experience required
- Supervisory experience in a related role preferred
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrate organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

- Transportation is provided from Edmonton, AB to site
- Rotations are 20 days on / 10 days off
