Operations Manager

Kasa is looking to add a highly motivated individual to our Property Operations team to oversee a one-of-a-kind property in Lake Anna, VA. As Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for on-the-ground operations, including management of physical and technical challenges, and serve as the face of Kasa for guests.

In this role, you will work closely with Kasa's centralized Property Operations support team and Guest Experience team to make the property successful and safe for all guests and residents. You will coordinate with housekeeping, vendors, and remote teams to ensure seamless operations.

This role is in our Property Operations department. Our mission is to ensure guests have a seamless experience from arrival to departure. Our team members are located across the country, come from diverse backgrounds, and are passionate about delivering high-quality standards.

The role involves a mix of recurring property management tasks and urgent on-site duties. You will assess property condition, assist guests, replace broken items, coordinate housekeeping, and seek improvement opportunities. You will also provide emergency lockout and guest support, work with Trust and Safety for security protocols, and oversee on-site operations with a small team of San Francisco building managers.

• Define and build the Kasa management playbook for the property.
• Ensure compliance with city and state reporting requirements.
• Oversee contracted housekeeping partners and external vendors, delegating daily tasks.
• Oversee preventative maintenance efforts property-wide.
• Partner with the Procurement team to establish PAR levels for operating supplies.
• Inspect and provide feedback to housekeeping partners.

• Serve as the face of Kasa to guests and the neighborhood.
• Ensure guest access points are reliable with a seamless arrival/departure experience.
• Provide emergency support for lockouts, time-sensitive requests, and other guest issues.

• Achieve superb guest experience using on-site resources and tech-enabled systems.
• Become a respected leader and thought partner within Kasa.
• Achieve market-leading guest reviews and RevPAR penetration ahead of forecast.
• Build a community partnership for unique guest benefits.
• Develop a new source of top-line ancillary revenue.
• Plan for larger market share and brand presence in year two.

• 5+ years experience, ideally in hospitality or service industry with both front- and back-of-house exposure.
• Demonstrated ability to serve diverse guests with a service mindset.
• Comfortable with autonomy and shifting priorities.
• Financial prudence, experience meeting revenue and expense targets.
• Outgoing, proactive, and able to read the room.
• Skilled in spreadsheets, technology adoption, and remote collaboration.
• Community engagement awareness (local knowledge).
• Ready to travel and flexible with vehicle requirements.
• Prior experience with alternative hospitality brands, sales, and preventative maintenance.

Pay
:
Base salary $70,000–$73,000 plus equity, bonus, perks and travel credits.
