This role is field-based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.

Candidates may live in the following cities:

• Boston, Massachusetts
• Albany, New York

Coordinate patient activity within in-field and remote teams to ensure patients are empowered through their treatment journey. Create, implement, and communicate District business Plan and monitor progress.

• Prioritize activity to achieve results with multiple teams. Maximize vendor partnership to achieve results for the patients. Ensure smooth, collaborative efforts in both day to day and long term business execution. Set tone and pace for business process and organization.
• Understand and present a franchise/business point of view when leading teams and championing meeting by developing a mastery of product and disease state information, as well as pertinent Market dynamics, including Managed Care landscape.
• Coach, mentor, educate and develop direct and indirect team members to enhance individual skills and elevate overall team performance. Hold direct reports accountable to behaviors.
• Provide direction and insights to key internal partners in business planning process.
• Consistently exemplify the Abb Vie Ways of Working.
• Priorities patient needs across two teams, up to 5 brands, and multiple indications.

• Bachelor s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• Previous District Manager or Patient Service experience preferred.
• Business analysis and planning skills that drive performance for the patient. Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas.
• Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage behaviors. Ability to create a culture of a high performing team with full team engagement.
• Collaborates and is able to influence without authority across organizations. Models Abb Vie s Ways of Working.
• An essential requirement of your position is to satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned territory. You must also be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain these credentials.
• These HCIR credentialing requirements may include, but are not limited to, background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination for various diseases, fingerprinting and specific licenses required by individual state or cities. Please remember that you are solely responsible for ensuring that you satisfy all HCIR credentialing requirements and for any associated liability for failing to do so. to Abb Vie has resources to answer questions you may have regarding your responsibilities.

• Valid driver’s license:
  Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
