Senior Theatre Practitioner

Overview

• Provide high-quality perioperative care across the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative pathway.
• Prepare and maintain operating theatres, instruments and equipment
• Support surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures
• Ensure the correct surgical instruments, implants and consumables are available
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any clinical changes
• Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards
• Ensure accurate patient documentation and records

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A proactive approach and commitment to high clinical standards
• Experience with in orthopaedics is desirable but not essential.

Working pattern:
Full-time; 37.5 hours per week; 4 x 8am to 6pm shifts per week with limited weekend requirement

£38,941.50 to £42,958.50 per year, depending on experience
