• Process referrals from Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and civilian providers
• Handle inbound calls and perform data entry in the medical management system
• Review referrals for benefits and medical necessity, escalating to a nurse or supervisor as needed
• Assign appropriate ICD
  10 and CPT codes to referrals
• Communicate with MTFs and civilian providers to gather additional information for referrals

• U.S. citizenship is required for this position
• Must successfully obtain interim approval for government security clearance
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service and/or administrative/data entry experience
• At least 2 years of healthcare experience with knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD codes
• Proficient in MS Office products and capable of navigating multiple computer applications

• Veteran or Military Spouse
• Understanding of TRICARE benefits and Humana Military referral processes
• College degree
• Experience in a Managed Care setting
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and ICD
  10 codes
