• Advocate and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to be as active in their lives as they can.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal preparation, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, and other daily living activities to help individuals look and feel their best.
• Assist them to medical appointments, banking, become active members of their community, attend outings, and follow medical guidelines.
• Administer medications as required and follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans and goals.
• Follow safety procedures for emergency evacuations and maintain certifications as required.
• Participate in program-specific and home-based training, including paid New Employee Orientation and CPR/First Aid, PABC, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program (MAP).

• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for advocating and supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them to participate in daily living activities, medical appointments, and community engagement.
