As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

The eRostering Team implement and maintain Health Roster (Optima), an RLDatix (Allocate) Software electronic rostering system currently being rolled out in NHS Lothian. Our aim is to have the right staff with the right skills in the right place at the right time.

We now require a Health Roster Area Support Officer to join our team to support our eRostering Helpdesk and to ensure the data held in the system is accurate and maintained in line with the agreed budgeted establishments for the service. The post holder will support the Health Roster Area Support Manager in the configuration, implementation and maintenance of Health Roster to a number of directorates across NHS Lothian.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an office/user support environment, experience in data analysis and reporting and proficient in the full Microsoft 365 (Office) suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
