Position: Autism Assessor ADOS)

Overview

We are seeking experienced Neurodevelopmental Practitioners in the Manchester area as we open up our first clinic in the region. We currently deliver online services and have clinics in Oxford and Chichester. This next step will offer a greater presence for our Northern clients seeking Autism assessments.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver face‑to‑face ADOS assessments in Manchester.
  • Work in a hybrid or fully onsite clinic based on preference.
  • Deliver ADIS and ADI‑R assessments as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to provide neuroaffirmative assessments and accurate diagnoses for children, young people, and adults.
  • Task of an Autism Assessor – Manchester.
  • Standard expectations: permanent or associate contract, full time or part time.
Qualifications
  • Clinical/Counselling/Forensic/Occupational/Education Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Relevant registration with HCPC, NMC or SWE, SCW or SSSC.
  • Formal training and experience delivering ADOS assessments.
  • High level of written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent knowledge of NICE guidelines and DSM‑5 criteria.

Salary

£55,000 to £65,000 a year.

Contract

Permanent.
