This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Psychotherapist based in Frederick, MD, allowing a combination of in‑person and remote work. The Psychotherapist will provide direct counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, and families to address mental and emotional health challenges. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, maintaining documentation, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Additionally, the Psychotherapist will monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Strong expertise in Psychology and a solid understanding of Mental Health principles and practices
- Proficiency in Counseling techniques and Relationship Counseling strategies
- Basic understanding or background in Medicine relevant to mental health care
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Maryland as required (e.g., LCPC, LCSW‑C, or equivalent)
- Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to cultural competence
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
