Project Worker

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Project Worker at our Young People Scheme, Brighton and Hove Foyer, Brighton. At Sanctuary Supported Living, we specialise in delivering a wide range of personalised housing, care, and support services to help people across England to live as independently as possible. • Providing support to encourage customers to maximise their own potential and independence
• Being the first point of call to receive and direct all customer queries
• Supporting progress towards independence in managing positive mental health
• Offering one‑to‑one support as required
• Promoting safety by undertaking risk assessments and reviewing customer needs
• Regularly assessing customer needs, writing, and updating support plans
• Developing professional relationships with customers, using appropriate and clear communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy and dignity is maintained
• Delivering small group activities to promote recovery and well‑being;

We work closely with the Home Office to prevent illegal working. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary in the event of a successful application, which we will pay for. • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
• Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong "can‑do" attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
• Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
• Ability to react quickly to changing priorities while working to deadlines and targets
• NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it is essential
