Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Project Worker at our Young People Scheme, Brighton and Hove Foyer, Brighton. - Providing support to encourage customers to maximise their own potential and independence
- Being the first point of call to receive and direct all customer queries
- Supporting progress towards independence in managing positive mental health
- Offering one‑to‑one support as required
- Promoting safety by undertaking risk assessments and reviewing customer needs
- Regularly assessing customer needs, writing, and updating support plans
- Developing professional relationships with customers, using appropriate and clear communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy and dignity is maintained
- Delivering small group activities to promote recovery and well‑being;

We work closely with the Home Office to prevent illegal working. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary in the event of a successful application, which we will pay for. Qualifications- Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
- Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong "can‑do" attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
- Ability to react quickly to changing priorities while working to deadlines and targets
- NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it is essential
