Internship - Intern II

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be an MPH or MS Epidemiology student at SUNY Albany's College of Integrated Health Sciences
• Completed at least 24 credits of coursework toward degree, including at least four core courses
• Maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better
• Cannot participate in internship if on academic probation

• Completion of SAS course or knowledge of SAS software

• Assist with analyzing data from internal and external sources to generate updated statistics for public reporting
• Gain hands‑on experience with large datasets using SAS and other software
• Clean and prepare datasets, calculate injury and death statistics
• Produce summary tables and figures, ensuring accuracy for inclusion on BOHIP website
• Support additional injury and violence surveillance topics as needed

Full time.

Hourly, grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
