Hope Comprehensive Center for Development is a family-centered therapy practice specializing in speech-language, occupational, and behavior therapy. Serving the Temecula Valley and greater Inland Empirr, the center provides both in-office and home-based therapy sessions to help children thrive and reach their full potential. The practice serves children with a variety of needs, including feeding/swallowing disorders, hearing loss, traumatic brain injury, developmental language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Murrieta, CA for an Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy to children in need. Responsibilities include addressing the therapeutic needs of children with conditions such as developmental delays, feeding and swallowing challenges, and motor skill difficulties. Additionally, the Occupational Therapist will collaborate with families and other professionals to facilitate optimal outcomes for each child.

Qualifications
  • Skills in Occupational Therapy, assessment, and treatment planning
  • Knowledge of Pediatrics and Rehabilitation to support children with diverse developmental needs
  • Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
  • Understanding of medical considerations related to therapy, including feeding and sensory processing challenges
  • Relevant qualifications such as certification or licensure in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with children with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
