Role DescriptionKD Healthcare Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Remote DME Billing Specialist to support Medicare, Medicaid MCO, and commercial claims management on a part-time independent contractor basis.
This role focuses specifically on Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing operations, including claim lifecycle management, AR follow-up, and denial resolution.
Primary Responsibilities- Claims submission and oversight (Medicare, Medicaid MCO, Commercial)
- Portal attachment management (Availity and payer portals)
- Payment posting and reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable follow-up and payer communication
Denial review and routing using established appeal templates - Identification of underpayments
- Weekly billing activity summary report
- Minimum 3 years of DME billing experience (Required)
- Experience with Medicare and Medicaid Managed Care Organizations
- Experience handling manually priced/NOC claims (E1399 preferred)
- Strong AR aging management discipline
- Comfortable working within an assigned billing platform (Nymbl experience a plus)
- Prior independent contractor (1099) experience preferred
