About the Role:

We are recruiting qualified healthcare professionals to join a national health assessment service as Functional Assessors.

This role offers an opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a structured environment, assessing how health conditions or disabilities impact a person’s daily functioning rather than providing treatment.

You will conduct assessments, review medical evidence and produce detailed reports to support fair and evidence-based decision making.

Full training is provided and no previous assessor experience is required.

Eligible Professional Backgrounds Applications are welcome from:

Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD)
Occupational Therapist
Physiotherapist
Paramedic
Pharmacist Applicants must hold active UK professional registration.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct functional assessments via telephone, video or face-to-face consultations
Review medical evidence prior to assessments
Carry out structured consultations in line with national guidelines
Assess the functional impact of health conditions on daily living
Produce clear, accurate and evidence-based written reports

Offer:

£43,000 – £45,500 salary
Monday to Friday working (no evenings or weekends)
