We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our team in Vermont. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting individuals facing mental health challenges. This role involves providing therapeutic support, crisis intervention, and developing individualized treatment plans.
Note:
This position requires working under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor. This position is remote, but we are currently looking for clinicians located in Vermont due to licencing regulations.
Duties:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address mental health issues.
- Provide grief counseling and support to clients experiencing loss.
- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help clients develop coping strategies.
- Implement crisis management strategies and interventions for clients in acute distress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes in compliance with coding standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary.
- Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health issues.
Position Requirements
Masters,
1+ Years
work experience Education & Licensing Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field (required).
- Must be eligible to provide clinical services in accordance with Vermont state regulations and supervision requirements, as applicable.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and patient care practices is essential.
- Experience providing individual and group counseling is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of grief counseling methodologies is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Training or certification in CBT or other therapy methodologies is beneficial but not required.
