Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity within NHS Dumfries & Galloway for General Radiographers to join our team and support in the provision of our 24/7 imaging service. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with well‑developed people skills who can work effectively and efficiently. The department is forward looking and invests in staff training; we expect you to participate in staff development/training.
You will be required to provide cover at the Dumfries/Stranraer sites, as per your availability.
- Provide imaging services as part of a 24/7 extended working / 7‑day service provision, including possible on‑call duties.
- Participate in staff development and training sessions.
- Cover the Dumfries and Stranraer sites according to availability.
- Operate state‑of‑the‑art digital equipment (CT and DR) in both sites.
- Contribute to the Scottish National PACS service and its recently upgraded reporting set‑up.
- Proven experience as a General Radiographer.
- Specialist experience in other radiographic areas is viewed positively.
- Sound working knowledge of clinical guidelines and safety standards.
- Free, unlimited parking at all hospital sites.
