AboutThe Role
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) remote position.
As a PMHNP at Affect, you will lead member care alongside counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers. You'll provide evidence-based treatment for individuals living with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in a fully virtual setting.
We prescribe Suboxone for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder and do not prescribe other controlled substances. Affect provides extensive training in evidence-based treatment approaches, while clinical decision-making remains at the provider's discretion in collaboration with the member.
An active, unrestricted Oregon license is required.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations
- Diagnose and treat substance use and mental health conditions
- Prescribe medications as clinically appropriate
- Complete timely documentation in our EHR (Healthie)
- Collaborate with your care team and attend scheduled team meetings
- Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in Oregon (and state of residence, if different)
- Active DEA registration with experience prescribing Suboxone
- At least 2 years of PMHNP experience preferred (addiction or behavioral health strongly preferred; strong relevant experience considered)
- Medicaid enrollment preferred
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure (cost covered by Affect)
- Comfort working independently in a virtual environment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Empathy and commitment to serving individuals with behavioral health challenges
You must maintain a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable high-speed internet to conduct telehealth visits. This role may include occasional internal meetings; reasonable accommodations are available as needed.
