LocationRiley Hospital - Home Based (Early Intervention Services)
ShiftDay shift with opportunity to work alternative hours and/or weekends if desired, but not required. Days/hours determined based on what works best for therapist and families served. Travel is required. Opportunities exist for set schedules ranging from 24-40 hours per week.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesThis is a Riley Children’s Health Physical Therapist position within the Indiana First Steps program providing early intervention services to infants and toddlers ages birth-three and families in the home or community environment. Provides services in collaboration with the family's natural environment via evidence-based treatments that address activities of daily living, sensory processing, feeding, and fine motor development in accordance with the established Individualized Family Services Plan.
Identifies and assesses skills that impact the patient’s functional ability. Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.

Qualifications- Requires a Master’s Degree from an accredited academic program in occupational therapy; or, if foreign trained, graduation from an occupational therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
- Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Requires current licensure in the state of Indiana.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- May require credentialing for certification as an early interventionist.
- Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
- Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
