• Review, analyze, and validate CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis codes and charges for compliance with regulations and guidelines
• Assist in daily operations of coding teams and ensure productivity and quality standards are met
• Provide education, instruction, and training to providers and coding staff
• Conduct professional fee billing integrity reviews/audits and identify areas for improvement
• Act as a liaison for external audits and implement necessary changes based on findings

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPC Certification required upon hire
• Minimum of two years of prior experience in professional fee coding
• Knowledge of multiple coding specialties preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with provider professional fee coding and charge processing
• Additional coding certifications such as CCA, CCS, COC, RHIT, or RHIA
