Responsible for gathering and preparing data necessary for filing all Medicare and Medicaid cost reports; coordinating all audit activities that relate to third party issues; assuring appropriate reimbursement from all parties; analyzing, preparing, and booking the monthly third-party activity; preparing financial and hospital-based analysis requests; providing Mercy-wide and regional provider enrollment support for hospital providers; and, preparing various industry and payer surveys.
Performs these tasks in a manner which is consistent with the values and mission of Mercy Health.
REMOTE OPPORTUNITY - COST REPORTING
MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Education:
BS Degree in Accounting or Finance - Experience:
5 years' experience in healthcare cost reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Verbal communication skills
- Licensure: CPA or other is a plus
- Experience:
5+ yrs in Medicare cost report preparation or auditing - Medicare Area Contractor experience is a plus
- Lawson GL experience
