This full-time Licensed/Resident Therapist role is a hybrid position based in Roanoke, VA, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and maintain accurate client documentation. Collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals to deliver effective therapeutic interventions is a key aspect of this position.
In addition, the therapist will contribute to fostering a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment for clients.
- Licensure or residency in counseling, social work, or a related mental health field (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar credentials).
- Strong skills in conducting individual, group, and family therapy, as well as creating personalized treatment plans.
- Proficiency in performing client assessments and maintaining accurate and confidential documentation.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills to foster client engagement and trust.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and the ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment, including remote work capabilities.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse client backgrounds and experiences.
- Experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques is a plus.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
