Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring an experienced Sr. Histologist to work full time evenings in the Immunohistochemistry Lab (3p‑1130p). Sign on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates.

As a Sr. Histologist duties will be to demonstrate fiscal responsibility, assist Manager with daily operations, coordinate work, achieve departmental goals and objectives, maintain customer satisfaction, and meet regulatory requirements. Maintains specialized expertise within assigned areas and routinely assumes charge of the department in prioritizing workload and resolving problems in the manager's absence.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525‑bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
