Centralized Billing Specialist In-Person or Remote

• Perform all aspects of billing for Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health claims
• Enter codes and reconcile charges in a timely and accurate manner
• Verify commercial insurance eligibility daily for assigned sites
• Maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA
• Communicate effectively with providers and billing team to ensure smooth operations

• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare billing and coding
• AAPC/AHIMA certification;
  Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coding (COC); or a diploma in medical billing
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and electronic email systems
• In-depth knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes, Medicare and Medicaid billing rules
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• Associate's degree in Health Information Management Systems, Business, or a related field
• Additional AAPC/AHIMA certification;
  Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coding (COC)
