Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist; SLP | Escondido, California

A leading healthcare staffing company is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting located in Escondido, California. This contract opportunity offers flexibility with options for on-site or remote work, as well as full-time or part-time schedules. Candidates with remote therapy experience are especially encouraged to apply for teletherapy roles.

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or an equivalent credential
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred
• California state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is a plus

• Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans suited to each students specific needs
• Deliver therapy sessions individually or in groups to enhance communication abilities
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of sessions and progress reports
