Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Credentialing Specialist, based in Smithfield, RI, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Credentialing Specialist will manage and coordinate the credentialing process for providers who need to enroll or maintain their participation ststus with insurance companies. Daily tasks include verifying provider credentials, communication with insurance payers and healthcare organizations, and providing excellent customer service to address credentialing-related inquiries and challenges.
Qualifications- Demonstrated experience and expertise in Credentialing and Medical Staff Credentialing
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and credentialing requirements
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
