Position: In Home Therapist - Full Time or Part Time

In-Home Youth & Family Therapist Opportunity – 24, 32, or 40 hours per week

Fuller Hospital is a 109‑bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Massachusetts, providing inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services to residents of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The facility offers a less intensive Partial Hospitalization Program for patients with psychiatric and co‑occurring substance‑abuse disorders.

In‑Home Therapy Program

The In‑Home Therapy Program delivers intensive therapy and family sessions in the client’s home, guided by a master’s‑level clinician (IHT) and a bachelor’s‑level support staff (TT&S). The program aims to improve family dynamics, promote healthy functioning, and prevent escalation to higher levels of care.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate intensive in‑home family therapy sessions with youth under 21 and their families to improve support and healthy functioning.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, parent coaching, crisis intervention, psycho‑education, and other evidence‑based practices.
  • Collaborate with a bachelor’s‑level para‑professional (TT&S) for co‑facilitation, treatment planning, and case management.
  • Complete required paperwork, including progress notes, comprehensive and CANS assessments, safety plans, and treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and skills coaching as needed.
  • Coordinate care with collateral contacts and monitor treatment plan goals and progress.
  • Identify community resources and provide after‑care referrals to sustain treatment progress.
Position Structure

Client Diagnoses:
Trauma, behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, ODD, and other presenting issues, offering extensive clinical exposure.

Hours & Scheduling
  • Hiring for part‑time (24 hrs), full‑time (32 hrs), and 40 hrs positions.
  • Clinicians create schedules based on client availability; typical sessions occur in the afternoons during the school year, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
  • Work from home is allowed for documentation and Zoom calls; office space is available, but no mandatory in‑office schedule.
Caseload

Part‑time clinicians may handle 4‑6 cases; full‑time clinicians may manage 8‑10 cases, with caseload determined by hours worked.

Service Area

Serves the Southeast region of MA, including Attleboro, Taunton, Mansfield, Foxboro, and surrounding towns. New Bedford/Fall River cases are accepted for clinicians residing in that area.

Crisis Stabilization

Clients receive safety plans and a protocol for crisis response, involving the IHT, TT&S, TM, outpatient counselor, natural supports, or mobile crisis. When unavailable, clients are directed to a 24‑hour crisis line.

Supervision & Meetings
  • One hour per week of face‑to‑face supervision (in‑person or Zoom) with a licensed clinician.
  • Weekly group supervision available.
  • Mandatory staff meeting: 1 hour weekly on Thursdays, 12‑1 pm. Meetings are held via Zoom, with one in‑person meeting per month.
Paperwork
  • Progress notes and billing are due Monday by 2:00 pm; documents may be securely emailed.
  • Other paperwork (CANS assessments, treatment plan updates) is due every 3 months.
  • Administrative staff handle filing of all documents.
  • Insurance authorizations are obtained by the organization.
Telehealth

Clinicians may provide hybrid sessions—both in‑person and telehealth—based on client preference and safety protocols.
