When you come to work at our Seniors Living villages, you are coming into a Resident’s home. Your feedback and input is used to improve our daily practices, and your energy goes a long way to putting smiles on our Residents’ faces. As a Unregulated Care Provider (UCP), we will provide training and certification to set you up for success in being safe and effective in this role.

• Provide medication to Residents under the direction and orders of a Registered Practical Nurse
• Assist your Residents with activities of daily living
• Spend time and provide companionship to the Residents
• Complete your Point-of-Care tasks specific to each Resident you are supporting
• Help keep the Resident’s area clean and clutter free
• Communicate a Resident update to your care team
• Support Team Members in the home during a themed day
• Help a Resident come down during mealtime and provide them any support needed through the meal
• Support your team as needed

To be hired into this role, you must have:

• Required knowledge of medication; for example Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate, DSW certificate, or Pharmacist Assistant experience
• Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months
