Rehab Vet Pte Ltd, a leading provider of veterinary rehabilitation services, is seeking a dedicated Canine Therapist / Assistant to join our growing team in the Farrer Park region. This full-time position is a unique opportunity to combine your love for animals with your expertise in canine therapy and rehabilitation.
What you'll be doingProviding comprehensive physiotherapy and occupational therapy services to canine patients, including massage, hydrotherapy, and therapeutic exercises
Assisting in the development and implementation of customised rehabilitation plans for each patient
Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
Collaborating with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all patient treatments and progress
Ensuring a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff
Educating pet owners on home-based rehabilitation techniques and providing ongoing support
What we're looking forQualifications in veterinary physiotherapy, animal therapy, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a canine rehabilitation or veterinary setting
Strong knowledge of canine anatomy, physiology, and pathologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both patients and their owners
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care
Proficient in the use of rehabilitation equipment and technology
