Overview
Sentara Therapy Center Suffolk YMCA is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This is a Part-Time opportunity with a 25-hour work week. The work shift will be scheduled within the hours of operation for the facility, which is 7:30 am - 6:30 pm.

Work Shift:
First (Days)
- As a COTA with Sentara, you will administer occupational therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- You may assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by an Occupational Therapist.
- You will provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
- An Associate s level degree, Certificate, Diploma, or degree from an accredited school is required.
- Current licensure in the state of Virginia or licensure eligible and current National Board Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (NBCOT) or certification eligible
