Provide Intensive home-based treatment (IHBT) for child/adolescent and family that integrates community psychiatric support treatment (CPST) service, Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), mental health assessment, mental health crisis response, individual service plan delivery, behavioral health counseling and therapy service, and social services with the goal of either preventing out-of-home placement or facilitating a successful transition back to home.

The role provides IHBT services and integrates multiple supports to address the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families in their natural environment, with the aim of preventing out-of-home placement or supporting a transition home.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist.
• Experience with child welfare, juvenile justice, educational, and behavioral health systems for a minimum of 3 years.
• Ability to provide clinical services in a family’s natural environment.
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule that meets the needs of clients served, i.e. nontraditional schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and provision of transportation, insurance and the ability to use your car for work.
• Pass preemployment drug screening and ODJFS required criminal records check.
